Mud Pool Eyes

Image
You are all I think about, you are all I see when hanging from a threat of life's torn sheets, you are my glimpse of hope when all that seemed to be utopia comes crashing down on me, you are all I know in this mysterious scrap yard we call life, you are all that makes sense in the midst of confusion and inconvenience caused by my own selfish views of what we call love, you are my last hope at achieving happiness once again. I love you so please don't leave me, let me prove my loyalty to you. Am a selfish self absorbed asshole but if there is one thing am sure about is that I need you to complete my existance so please don't walk away, if you feel you have had enough with my stupidity and ignorance do me a favour and look back I want to see those mud pool eyes of yours for memory sake.  By Smith Khethisa (Dark Soul)

Don't Feel Used

Image
Contemplating in my head wheather to walk away or stay, wheather to feed my curiousity or let it starve,I might be a stranger who is a passenger in a train of momentary lapse, Walking around in circles trying to convince myself that it was just weakness manifesting inside of me, truth be told if I was to go back to that moment again I would still do it again, am deeply drawn by this raging inferno burning inside of you, it is wrong but yet I have no regrets for what I did, so don't feel used

You Should Have Stayed In The Past

Image
Time waits for no man, I waited and my concrete rose got finer. I waited and the wine got finer. Time is not a measure value, from the time I saw you I was a mesmerized. From the time I saw you got finer with time. I saw you again a few days back and you were blooming like a rose bush in the desert. Dear concrete rose grand me an opportunity to make you smile and make your smile finer. Grand me time to carve my words and rhythmic verses deep in the canvas of your soul, Let me be the picasso of your world, let me paint my feelings with ink and grammatical rhythm. Only if you knew the secrets trapped deep in the cages of my unsettled soul, only if you knew am a prisoner of my own failures at love. As I look deep in the shiny mud pits of your eyes, am left hypnotized by the everlasting power the Bemuda Triangle of your soul. Don't look back don't look away just look at me I want to see the woman on the moon of my mind.I can't write my own story but join me and let us venture ...

The Lost Meaning Of True Leadership

Image
TRUE LEADERSHIP By Smith Khethisa See I was born to lead but not only by actions but by words too. I was born to feed my people with poetry, poetry being the truth behind rhythmic verses and stanzas. Each every one of us is a verse on the poetry book of life, our tears and laughter are a beautiful song to the listening ear of Africans. My struggle is not physical, mental or mental but my struggle is seeing the tears of my people crying out for help Round and round we go seeking for composure, round and round we go seeking for a paradise within each and every-one of us. Maybe if we stop looking around only can we see the truth behind the sad realities of life. See, I wrote the book the book to be Dark Soul the wise one. I wrote the book to be Smith the one who saw the truth and spoke out The hungry beast self-pity feeds on fertile soil our minds, the hungry beast feeds on Africa's bright future. See we believe in what we see and touch, we believe in destruction and propagand...
